PELICANS ON THE CENTRAL COAST

I could hardly stop "shooting" photos at Avila Beach on Wednesday, August 22nd.  I was totally mesmerized by the great number of pelicans that were joined by humpback whales as they were feasting together on krill, small shrimp-like critters.  This is not a usual happening at Avila Beach.  I think they have been there for over a week now, and can't help but wonder how much longer they will provide such entertainment and photo ops for those of us living in this area, as well as people coming here for the purpose to experience this adventure.  I am so thankful to have such wonderful experiences in my life.
